Wayne
Spulak
Nov 27, 1954 — May 1, 2026
Wayne Ray Spulak, 71, Wausau, was called to heaven on Friday May 1, 2026, surrounded by his family at home.
He was born November 27,1954, in Wausau, son of the late Walter and Gertrude (Sulstrom) Spulak.
He enjoyed the simple things in life, tinkering in his garage, working on his vehicles, trimming his lawn and watching sports, especially the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers. His children were taught at a young age when a game was on you don't talk to him, unless there was a commercial and then you better be quick. Holidays with his family, where board games were a must, and blasting his music loud enough you couldn't hear yourself think. He always said that's how it reaches your soul and heals what's burdening you. Black Sabbath was a constant in his house.
At the age of 18 he started working at Norlen Incorporated until he retired at the age of 65. He was proud of the fact that he was able to stay with the company for 47 years. He had a strong work ethic and instilled in his children and grandchildren that hard work builds character and a healthy mind.
Survivors include his children, Amber (Billy) Kasat, Wausau; Justin (Heather) Spulak, Stevens Point; grandchildren, Logan (Nikki), Ariel, Blaze Kasat and Levi Spulak; great-grandchildren, Kamryn, Lukas and Oaklee Kasat; Siblings, Gary (Jackie) Spulak, Weston; Cheryl Wunderlich, Germantown.
Besides his parents, he is proceeded in death by a brother Joseph who passed away at birth and a brother- in- law Keith Wunderlich.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday May 30,2026 from 1p-4p at the Eagle's Club,1703 South Third Avenue, Wausau, WI. 54401
