Our dad Willard Mogenson died November 17, 2023, at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau. He was born 1/12/1925 to Curtis and Elsie (Fietz) Mogenson. He was 98 years old, oh how he wanted to see is 99th birthday. Willard was a proud WWII Veteran with an honorable discharge. He retired from Marathon Electric as an inspector of generators.

Dad had 4 children JoAnn (Mike) Galli, Rory (Jean) Mogenson, Judy Schroeder, Kathy (Todd) Sopata, 10 grandkids he loved, 23 great grandchildren who he adored. A brother Charlie Mogenson, sister MaryLee (Harlen) Hartz.

He was preceded in death by his parents, second wife Alice Fust, son in law Glen Schroeder, great grandson Bryce Giles, one brother Kenny Mogenson, sister Janet VanNorman and brother-in-law Aden Van Norman.

From all the postings from his grandchildren you can understand how he was loved and part of their lives. He was a man full of history we will miss you dad, grandpa and great grandpa.

A memorial will be held Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. for family and friends at the Peplin VFW on Hwy 153, Mosinee, WI 54455
