William Gene (Billy) Mahn, age 80, of Crandon, WI, formerly of Merrill, WI, passed away peacefully at Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital due to Chronic Heart Failure and other health issues.

Billy was born on June 13, 1944, in Sturgeon Bay, WI, son of the late Augie and Emma (Hulke) Mahn.

On September 19, 1964, he married his one and only true love, Donna (Seis) Mahn. They had a union lasting 60 years. She preceded him in death on December 11, 2024.

Billy was a great guy with a good sense of humor. He worked at Weinbrenner Shoe Company for years, and then Mitchell Metal Products until his retirement.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, and working on his cars, and traveling. He will be remembered for his love of fun, and making people laugh!

Billy is preceded in death by his parents, a son, Shannon Mahn, and his sister, Shirley Ziert,

of CA.

He is survived by one daughter, Larana (Mike) Broeren, one granddaughter, Sarah (Roy) Broeren and two great grandsons; Aiden and Bellamy.

Per Billy's wishes, there will be no services.

Family would like to thank Billy's neighbor, Becca, for her help, and the outstanding staff at Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital, for all they did to help him, too.
