William "Dale" Popelka passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family and friends on Saturday, June 22, 2024.

Dale was born on April 3, 1940 to John and Mary Popelka of White Lake, WI.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Audrey (Peot) Popelka. His Son Ken (Stubby), his sisters Mitzie, Carmen and Jeanette, also a brother Jack.

Survivors include daughter Barbara Popelka and her fiancé Dean Muehlbauer.

Grandchildren Scott and Sean (Barb) Amber and Caitlin (Ken). Great grandchildren twins Rhett and Ryker (Amber) Cashton, Jax and Tandom (Sean).

You very seldom caught Dale sitting around, whether he was plowing snow or tending to his enormous garden and yard. To still be driving truck for FS in Antigo who he was with for 17 years. Before that, he drove for Roundys in Milwaukee. That has always been his occupations, driving semi.

He loved his little village of White Lake and all of his amazing friends who he enjoyed hanging out with and having a beer or two. Dale was also the guy who showed up if you needed help with anything.

All of his nieces, nephews and cousins were always here for him and loved him tremendously, and he felt the same for them as well.

You are leaving behind a great legacy and will be missed by many.

This was the one fight you couldn't win.
